Announcing Transporter Werks first ever Volkswagen maintenance class! Beginning in May, Transporter Werks will be hosting maintenance of the Volkswagen owners on a bi-monthly basis. Our first class will focus on basic engine maintenance of the Volkswagen flat four engine on Saturday May 19th from 11AM-2PM. The cost of the class is $95.00 per person and will included lunch. We will cover general engine internal workings by showing how the valve train interacts with the camshaft and crankshaft. This will give the class participants a knowledge base to better understand their engines and why a tune up is so effective. One class participant will get their car tuned up during the class by covering the cost of the parts used and all other participants will leave with the knowledge needed to tune their own flat four. We are limiting the class to six participants but need a minimum of four attendees to hold the class; participants must pre-pay by May 4th.
