There is some rust in all the usual places. This van hasn’t been driven in snow / salt. Rust will need attention sometime down the line, but will make a great driver for years to come.
From the owner~
Old Blue is up for sale.
She’s been around the country more times than I can count — taken me to the most beautiful corners of the map, and created more stories than I could ever fit into a post. But life happens, and as much as I thought I was buying myself another five years in Old Blue (she just got 20k in upgrades), it’s time to pass her along to someone who’ll keep the adventures rolling.
I’ve owned this van for over 10 years. Found her in Florida — she was originally owned by the guy behind Bing Surfboards — and after months of searching for the perfect camper, I knew right away this was the one. She’s been my home on wheels, my festival rig, and my escape pod ever since.
She’s not just a van — she’s a chapter of my life. And as much as I’d love to keep her parked in the driveway forever, she deserves to be out there doing what she was built for. If you’re looking for a van that you can (more or less) get in and drive around the country tomorrow, this is the one.
