New Products and Developments
October 2025
Fall has arrived, and we’re rolling into the season with big updates, new projects, and even more ways to enhance your Vanagon experience. Simple amenities like our console RAM adapter plate and replacement step mats make a world of difference.
These console adapter plates have been thoroughly tested, included in nearly every restoration that leaves our shop. They’re designed to accommodate navigation systems, tablets, and phones, with built-in options for wire routing and an optional kill-switch button. They’re fabricated from 6061 aluminum, finished and coated to prevent weathering. The RAM double-ball mounting system is fantastic for positioning your display freely and holding it securely. The pictured Carpuride system, paired with our custom adapter for RAM mounts, will also be hitting the store page soon – we’re currently testing various amplifiers to find what pairs the best with this unit. This touchscreen system brings modern convenience to your Vanagon, including enhanced stereo control, CarPlay, an optional backup camera, and a host of other features.
We’ve also started forging into the world of 3D-printed parts, with several designs currently undergoing durability testing. The first to arrive in our store will be replacement footwell mats, made from tough yet flexible TPU. They feature non-slip grooves and can be customized with either the Transporter Werks TW logo or the Westfalia Compass Rose. We can always implement a custom logo or design, just contact us.
We’re also excited to share two major updates: the launch of our new square LED headlight set and the addition of Scheel-Mann seats to our distribution lineup.
The TW Square Headlight System brings a modern update to the late-model grille, using Jeep-spec 5×7 headlights paired with independently mounted KC Flex Era 4 inner fog lights (with a simpler AUXBEAM fog option available as well). Built in-house with stainless-steel bracketry designed to last the lifetime of the van, the system has been thoroughly tested over the past year and a half on several customer builds as well as Sean’s Tri-Star. Adjustment is simple and reliable, and the grille can be removed in seconds using two quick-release button pins in place of the factory quarter-turn screws.
Scheel-Mann USA has its roots in Germany, and it shows in the construction quality of these seats. Behind the stunning appearance, they sport state-of-the-art ergonomics – the lumbar support is adjustable inward and outward as well as up and down, ensuring you can place it exactly where you need it. The side bolster can be adjusted in and out, and the amount of support for your thighs (essentially, the length of the base of the seat) is even adjustable. On top of all this, the Klima models have heating and cooling, and the XXL version has a 3″ taller backrest.
Thanks for checking in with us this season. We’re excited to share these projects with you—keep an eye on the store for new arrivals, and as always, we love seeing how you put Transporter Werks parts to work in your Vanagon.
